Draft King Analysis
It surprised me that the Jets opted for Vilma over his Miami teammate D.J. Williams... though the Jets did take a pair of Hurricans LBs by taking Darrell McClover in the seventh round. Nice move also by snagging Derrick Strait at the #76 mark. Strait has the potential to be a shutdown corner once he gets some polish on the pro level, and it surprises me that he fell all the way to #76.
I like the approach the Jets took... Plenty of depth via the draft, addressing the LB, CB, WR and OT needs. Remember that the Jets traded their second rounder for Titans WR Justin McCareins, and he coupled with Cotchery will be a nice addition to the passing game for QB Chad Pennington.
