Draft King Analysis
Conventional wisdom for Carolina going into the draft was that the team needed to improve at CB and WR. The Panthers did both, landing Chris Gamble at #28 to shore up the CB spot and then grabbing receivers at #62 and #163 in Colbert and Carter. While nothing too spectacular happened for Carolina in the draft, they filled needs and made smart picks. When you're coming off of a Super Bowl appearance, that's a nice report to hear about your team.
