Here's a list of the top performances in the 225 pound bench press from the 2024 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, sorted by position. Some prospects who declined to work out at the NFL Combine instead plan to do so at their school's pro day ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
In this test, participants see how many reps they can get bench pressing 225 pounds. It's an arbitrary number, no less so than the 40-Yard Dash, but it allows for an apples-to-apples comparison.
