Subject: Chargers
Chargers fan here, as much as a I like to deny it, who do you think the Chargers will pick second. I have a feeling they will draft Eli, then trade the 2nd pick in the draft for either a OF lines man or most likely a WR or DFE. What do you think about this crap shoot.
Lou: The loss of Mike Williams from the draft will mean, at least potentially, that there will be one less WR to choose from when the Chargers come back around for pick #35 in the second round. I think Eli Manning is a lock for the #1 spot at this point. From there, if San Diego takes one of the talented WRs who will be on the board at #35 (be it Rashaun Woods or Lee Evans or Michael Jenkins), I think they'll be doing just fine. From there they can go offensive line in round three and be well on their way to rebuilding.

Subject: Mock
Enjoyed reading your 2004 Mock Draft...Looks good to me...The NFC North
picks all look right on...I could see the Vikings going with either the best
DE or LB available...Possibly LB now that E.J. Henderson is in trouble
again...As for the Green Bay, I would love to see Marquise Hill in a Packer
uniform...Also, I couldn't agree more on your comment about Drew
Henson...Mike Sherman let a great opportunity slip away here...
Lou: It will be interesting to see if the Packers can work a deal to bring Browns QB Tim Couch on board before Saturday. If they can, they'll have a very secure situation with Couch providing backup to Favre. If not... it will be most interesting to see if the Packers address that position in the draft.
